Please take a moment to review our business policies. These are in place to ensure that we can provide the highest

quality of care for our patients.

 

 

 

Cancellation Policy

Your time is important to us. At Walton Family Dentistry, your appointment time is reserved just for you. Yes, you read that right. We do not double, triple, quadruple book our patients.  We understand you are busy! We try really hard to stay on time. Sure, occasionally a procedure may be more complicated than expected and take a few more minutes or we may have to fit someone in for an emergency, but rest assured that we would extend that same level of care to you. In order to keep this scheduling practice in place, we ask the following of you:

 

Your cooperation in making and keeping appointments. Should it be necessary to change an appointment, we require at least 48 hours notice. We do charge a fee of $50/hour of scheduled time for missed appointments, but it is never our wish to do so.

 

Financial Policy

 

Treatment plans are presented to all patients before any work begins, typically at the initial visit. We will explain the procedures involved so that you fully understand the proposed treatment plan. The costs and the time required to perform the services is also discussed, as well as financing options. 

 

We go to great lengths to assist you in understanding your insurance benefits. Please understand that this is not a guarantee of benefits, only an estimate. We are happy to submit the claims necessary to see that you receive the full benefits of your insurance; however, we cannot guarantee any estimated coverage. Because the insurance policy is an agreement between you and the insurance company, we ask that all patients be directly responsible for the balance after insurance claims are processed. Please know that we will do everything possible to see that you receive the full benefits of your policy by electronically filing your claim the day of your appointment. We are on your team!

 

Based on our estimates, payment for provided services is due the day the procedure is peformed or a financal agreement agreed upon. We accept cash, check (with a valid drivers license), Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Checks that are returned to our office from your financial institution are subject to a $25.00 returned check fee. This fee covers the processing fees that are charged to our office. In terms of financing, we also offer CareCredit. Please speak with our staff if you are intersted in applying for CareCredit. 

 

We would be happy to discuss our charges and how they relate to your particular situation. We also realize that temporary financial situations may affect timely payment of your account. If such problems do arise, we encourage you to contact us promptly for assistance in the management of your account. Most often, financial misunderstandings can be managed with a phone call.
